I have arranged a group of mostly Old Homertonians (my Cambridge college) to do the Tough Guy Half Marathon on 29th March. This is a very arduous assault course that includes running through fire, suffering electric shocks, and navigating tunnels filled with water which requires months of training in advance. If training means occasionally running for the bus, then we are fully prepared. We are donating the money raised to the Samaritans which I'm sure everyone will agree is a very worthwhile cause. The cost of doing this is underwritten and so every pound raised goes directly to the charity.
