We fund vital research into neuroblastoma to help children survive this vile cancer

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Our daughter Elitza was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma when she was 3 years old. We started a clinical trial straight away which was a long and tough challenge in itself. On our first night of being admitted into the Radcliff Hospital in Oxford we met an amazing family who had a girl called Niamh who was already a few months into the programme.

On this journey we became close to Niamh, Dad Chris, Mum Sam and sister Hannah , and Elitza and Niamh used to hurl it thru the children's cancer unit like nut cases, just enjoying the right to play and making every body happy and humble in the process.

Unfortunately this vile disease took Niamh, which was the start of this incredible charity "Niamh's Next Step" in order to raise awareness and vital funding for research in order to save children in the future. Every penny which goes to the charity goes into research.

I have never climbed or trekked so this I am sure will be a huge challenge for me, so please give as much or as little as you can.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Niamh's Next Step was set up in Dec 2012 after we lost our amazing little girl to the childhood cancer, neuroblastoma in May 2012. We very proud to be funding vital research programs into this vile, aggressive childhood cancer but there is so much more to do. Please donate and help save our children
