I am running the London Marathon to raise money for Action Heart and also in memory of Dad who had been diagnosed with colon cancer back in January 2007, a year and a half after his operation it was discovered he had secondaries in both lungs. In May 2010 secondaries were found in his brain, for which he was given a course of radiotherapy. In September 2010 secondaries developed in his liver, following three chemotherapy treatments, a scan showed the liver secondaries had continued to grow and the decision was taken to stop all further treatment he passed away on the 03 April 2011, 1 week before his 80 birthday. 

This made me think, lets get sponsorship for my challenges and make my small efforts help others to date I have completed 5 different challenges and raised just over £1,500 pounds for various charities.
