Cairdeas IPCT provide Palliative care education, training and support to health care workers and volunteers in low to middle income countries where it is difficult to access such services. A typical Cairdeas project is "Transform Obonji" in Northern Uganda where they work with local partners to train local people to provide quality palliative care. This enables these local people to provide care and to relieve the suffering of people with life limiting illnesses who are already living in difficult circumstances.
