Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Since May is NFAwarenessMonth, I have decided to create this page, because I know more people need to know about Neurofibromatosis. Funny Lumps supports children and their families living with neurofobromatosis.

I didn't know until I was in my 30s that I had NF. However, I did always wonder why I had lumps and bumps all over my body, as well as a number of cafe au lait marks. I have had many issues with NF over the years. I am now in my late 40s.

Recently, I had major surgery and had to have my arm amputated. However, I must add, I have not let this get me down and I make lots of jokes about having one arm. I will not let this get me down. I am a local government councillor and Depute Provost in Clackmannanshire.

I will add more later, but for more details, please check out their website:
