Hi
My name is Izzy, my friends: Lula, libby, Honor, Gabs and I will be taking part in the State Street Island Walk (48 miles around Jersey) on the 23rd June 2018. On top of the amazing charities that we will be raising money for through the organization who run the challenge, we have decided to raise money for our own charity: Mind Jersey. As most of you probably know, this is a charity close to our hearts. Sadly, in December 2015, I lost my younger brother to suicide. I wish he had got the help he needed however Mind Jersey can help those who are still struggling to show them that things will always get better. Although we are sporty people this is something we haven’t done before and we know that this will be both physically and mentally challenging but we believe it is a positive way to do something active whilst raising as much money as possible in memory of Etienne and to help those in need. We would be so grateful for any donation at all to make this walk one of the most worthwhile and memorable experience of our lives.
