Fundraising for Creating Better Futures (CBF)
Story
Hi guys,
So I started running mid last year for "fun", and after doing my first 10k in July and the Windsor half marathon in September, I've decided to carry on the running and have signed up for the Reading half-marathon!
Rather than just running for "fun", I thought it would be a great way to raise some money for Creating Better Futures (CBF) to support the brilliant work they do.
CBF does great work supporting the children in Zimbabwe to receive an education that will massively improve the quality of life for them and their families. The money goes towards helping to lift orphans and vulnerable children in Africa out of poverty by providing them with access to education, and supporting them through projects focused on feeding, nutrition, clean water, hygiene and sanitation.
