In memory of mum this year I will be running 50 miles in the Liverpool to Manchester Ultra Marathon with my friend's Mark, Mark and Caroline and along with the support of Warrington Running Club.  The funds raised will be going to the Shannon Bradshaw trust who are focused on providing support to several local children who are suffering from various
life limiting conditions. One particular little girl (of 11 years) has a brain tumour , had an operation and was expecting the all clear, however the family have recently received the very upsetting news that a brain tumour has not only returned but doubled. When I heard this news it quite literally broke my heart and I really want to do all I can to raise funds for the little girl and all the children that the Shannon Bradshaw trust look after.

I’d love to be able to raise enough money to take some pressure of the family and to provide the little girl with some memorable days out with her family.  Obviously the little girl’s family are very traumatised at this point and are struggling on a day-to-day basis and don’t want the little girl (or her brother) to learn of the extent of the issue.
