We believe that every child has the right to shelter, food & love, one day at a time.

Story

We have collectively spent more than 40 years in Malawi and understand the problems that drought and AIDS have wrought on the Malawian people. It is so good to see a small project that not only really benefits the orphaned children but ensures they are found a place in their own community to grow up just like any other child.

Mike & John

Every child has the right to life, survival and development. By supporting Open Arms you are providing medical attention, shelter, food and love to some of Malawi’s orphaned and abandoned children. Your donations allow us to give the children in our care the chance to grow up with the love of a family and the security of a home until they are fit enough to return to their communities.Thank you!

The Ancient Mariners would like to offer thanks to our major donors for their support for our venture - BUPA for £2,500.

Today, 1,890 babies will be born in Malawi. 320 will become orphans. 87 will die before their first birthday from malnutrition or illness. We’re the only organisation in southern Malawi able to feed, house and care for these babies and support their return to their communities.
