This Sept/Oct, I am challenging myself to run 10k, 10 miles and a half marathon, in memory of my brother-in-law, David Colquhoun, who, very sadly, died earlier this year. 

David had worked and trained hard to become a firefighter. He had finally found the job he loved, this was evident in the way he beamed as he spoke about it. 

Like his colleagues in the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, David risked his life to keep our community safe. I would like to pay tribute to David by raising funds for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Family Support Trust. This organisation offers a variety of support to service personnel and their families during difficult and traumatic times. The service includes financial support, respite, and support to children who have suffered parental loss.

I'd be grateful for any donation to help raise funds for such an important cause.
