Since deciding to make the change and get fit and healthy last July, one of my main goals was to run the Great North Run this year. 5 stone lighter and the fittest I’ve ever been I feel I’m ready to achieve this goal! 

Sadly due to COVID the Run was cancelled but a Virtual Great North Run has been organised instead. Same distance but you run it on your own! 

I’m hoping to raise a bit of money for the Newcastle Cat and Dog shelter as they do an amazing job looking after and caring for the animals. I’m sure they would be able to use the money for some bedding or toys for the cats and doggies.
