Many people (including myself) have gone through or going through some sort of mental health issue and it is the worst feeling imaginable. I’ve decided to raise money to raise awareness and fund for some more research to help prevent and progress people going through this. The charity I have chosen is Mental Health Concern. Mental Health Concern provides life-changing support to improve mental health and wellbeing. Compassion and a focus on recovery is at the heart of all we do, and together with our sister organisation, Insight Healthcare, our specialist services support thousands of people each year. While our core funding comes from contracts with the NHS and local authorities, your kind donations go into our Extra Mile Fund for creative projects and activities to further enrich the lives of the people we serve.
