Story

In October last year, we lost a very special member of our family to cancer - the amazing Phil Oultram, or as many would have known him, Jack Phoenix.

The last few days of Phil's life were spent at St Kentigern Hospice & Palliative Care Centre in St Asaph, Denbighshire, North Wales.

At St Kentigern they celebrate survivor-ship and well being. Their aim is to enhance the quality of life of patients, enabling them to live well with their condition. They achieve this by providing specialist palliative care in an 8 bedded inpatient unit and with a range of programmes and therapies tailor made to the patient's individual needs, all of which is offered within a safe and homely environment.

In honour of Phil's memory and to give something back to the people that looked after him so well, I will be undertaking a challenge that I never thought I could

I am going to skateboard from Llandudno to Prestatyn - just over 20 miles!
