Story

Around 80 people sleep rough on the streets of Slough each night and the money is to set up an Emergency Winter Shelter for three months to provide a warm evening meal, a safe place to sleep and breakfast every day. The cost is £15 pp per night to run the shelter. 25% of guests have a services background. Volunteers work with clients to help find accommodation and employment.

About the charity

We started in the mid 1980's and provide soup runs for the homeless and disadvantaged in London and Slough. In 2014 we started a winter night shelter in Slough. We began a food share program in 2020 collecting from supermarkets and distributing to a number of local Charities every day.
