Our sister Angie, complained of a mole on the back of her neck. Skin cancer had never touched our family and we were really quite ignorant about the dangers that a small mole could pose. After a misdiagnosis initially Angie did go on to having the mole removed. Two young children, a husband, family and friends were to later watch Angie's brave fight for life. Had her mole been diagnosed earlier she may have been saved. Had the research that is now going ahead been done, she may have been saved. If this research gets the funding and continues to bring the results it is already bringing, Others will be saved. Please if you can spare a few pounds this charity is one I truly believe will bring results. A support group for suffers and their families to learn about the disease, research and support is held at James Cook University Hospital. I attended the last group and was blown away with the commitment and enthusiasm shown in the room. Awareness is prevention and survival. Jacq x
