Story
My Dad enjoyed a good walk. I have so many happy memories of the numerous strolls we completed together and the many and varied topics of conversation.
One of Dad’s favourite areas for walking was the Test Valley and if the walk concluded at a lovely country pub serving local Ringwood bitter
then that was as close to perfection as the day could get.
Dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and died in December 2016. Our family learnt quickly how cruel this type of cancer is and how little progress has been made in its early detection and finding a cure.
In memory of my wonderful Dad I am walking the pathways he
cherished along the Test Way. The money raised will go to Pancreatic Research in the UK to help fund earlier detection of this cancer in order to increase survival rates. Please support this cause by donating generously.
