Story
I'm Jacob and I'm seven. On the 29th May I'm setting out on my Coast to Coast cycling adventure from Whitehaven to Tynemouth (219 km and over 3,000 m of climbing).
My amazing Aunty has cared for dying people for most of her working life and she works at Hospice at Home West Cumbria. I want to raise money for Hospice at Home so they can keep helping people. I would also like a bit of money for myself, but Dad's promised me lots of cake and ice-cream instead.
And the sheep on my back .. ? That's Robadoo our team mascot. Dad bought him for me at the bottom of Alpe d'Huez and he wants to see some English hills. Dad's also coming, but he's shy - so no pictures.

Quick update. 0n Wednesday 2nd June I completed the coast to coast and carried Robadoo across England by riding into Sunderland Roker beach.
I met some lovely folk including Ann at the Allenheads Inn who made me a lemonade cocktail and Ian at the Allenheads Inn who fed my dog a corn beef breakfast. I also met the fantastic Rachel and her crew and Alex and his family as I battled the Pennines.
I'm a very modest seven year old, but Mum and Dad can't keep banging on about how well I've done.
It really is a long way to cycle and some of it is uphill. If you haven't already given, please do so ...
And finally ... thanks so much to everyone who has given. Very much appreciated.
Lots of love, Jacob and Robadoo xxx.
