Story
Southampton Doing It For The Kids (SDIFTK) is a non-profit registered charity, run by local people, supporting young people with additional needs, and their families, across Southampton.
Now in their 5th year of fundraising for kids with special needs, 2019 sees the charity supporting: Bea, who was born with Wolf Hirshhorn syndrome which leads to seizures, brittle bones, sight and hearing problems; Jack, who has Cerebral palsy, cannot walk and is blind; 10 year old Evie who has Autism, profound hearing loss and sensory delay; and 3 year old Charlie who had a stroke in utero which has lead to a diagnosis of Hemiplegic Cerebral Palsy. the charity is also supporting Forest Park School in Totton, a village I used to live in. Forest Park school provides for children aged 2 - 19 with moderate, severe and profound learning difficulties.
All money raised is used to fund specialist equipment, respite care, therapies, support for specialist placements and days out for the children and their siblings.
Please would you help me to help these children and their families by donating to my Just Giving page? In return I will be facing my major fear of height and jumping out of a plane in a tandem 15000 feet sky dive with Go SkyDive, Salisbury.
