Story

James, Catriona, Ian, Laura, Cate and Murdo are walking, running, cycling and pub-quizzing to raise money for RNIB Talking Books.

Ian and two friends are walking the West Highland Way (96 miles) in August.James and Murdo have already walked Hadrian's Wall, while the pub quiz in June had people clamouring for another one.

RNIB Talking Books is a free service that makes reading accessible to blind and partially sighted people, but it very much relies on donations.

Reading is a crucial part of life for both information and pleasure, and without accessible formats being produced blind and partially sighted adults and children won’t be able to share the joy of a good book

Please donate what you can (the giving page that comes up mentions it’s for James Adams but actually it’s for everyone in this team)…

About the campaign

Sponsor a Talking Book and help us create a world without barriers for blind and partially sighted people.

About the charity

Every day 250 people in the UK start losing their sight. With your help, we can be there when people need us most, support independent living, create an inclusive society and prevent avoidable sight loss. Every pound you raise will help create a future where sight loss is no longer a barrier.
