Story

Whether an avid golfer or a fair weather part-timer, you will all be familiar with that wonderful feeling of turning the corner onto the 18th tee and finally spotting the clubhouse on the horizon…you can almost taste the first sip of a well-deserved beverage.

Well for James Anthony and Jonny Lewis, on 24th June they will be heading straight back out for another 54 holes!

James & Jonny from Barclays will be taking part in a Longest Day Golf Challenge to help raise funds for Believe Organ Donor Support  – they are looking to raise £2,000 as a team, which Barclays can match £ for £.

Believe is a charity established by Anna-Louise Bates in memory of her late husband, Stuart and her son, Fraser (Bear) Bates, whose organ and tissue donations went on to save many lives.

The charity’s mission is to educate and help spread the word on organ donation, support those people involved, and break down the taboo around organ donation to get people talking.

On 24th June, starting at 5.30am and finishing around 8.30pm, James and Jonny will be completing 4 rounds of golf, back to back, walking over 20 miles in the process.

They are asking for support for donations to support a great cause. Anything you can donate would be greatly appreciated via the just giving page below:
