Story

Between 12th and 14th August 2011, a team of Retained Firefighters from Kirriemuir in Angus will be cycling over 200 miles wearing breathing apparatus sets. We are raising funds for the Cash For Kids campaign and will be cycling between Retained and Wholetime stations throughout Tayside as we go – come and see us on the way!

We are recreating the intrepid work of the Kirriemuir Firefighters who first came up with this idea and successfully completed the route in 1991, so on the 20th anniversary, with four of the original team still serving Firefighters and taking part we would be very grateful for your support in raising money for this excellent cause.

Cash for Kids helps disabled and disadvantaged children throughout Tayside to live a more fulfilled life and have the possibility of a better future - any support you can give will go directly to helping those in need.

Thanks, and check back here and on Facebook for updates soon!
