Story

It’s time to give something back.

In 2016 James attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst with
the rest of his class in CC161. Along the way, he truly made some friends for life. One of those friends was Hector Lloyd, Archie’s big brother. In the summer term of the course, he and a few members of his platoon were invited by Hector to come along to Team Archie’s’ launch fundraiser and it was a night that will stay with him for the rest of his life.  Since that night James has wanted to help contribute to what Team Archie's vision is however didn’t know quite what to do or when to do it.

In life, we would be lost without utter determination and teamwork. Ross has been and remains the driving force behind this whole venture. On a cold dark day in October, he birthed the idea of competing in a full  Ironman, and since then neither of us have looked back!

At 6:00 am on June 30th 2019, you will find both of us lining up to embark on a 3,8km swim in the Mediterranean, 180km bike course through the French Alps, and a 42.19km run (a marathon) along the Promenade des Anglais, in the name of charity and challenge.

We believe that reaching your full potential is something that must be pursued. The money you donate will help fund courses, to support a series of programmes and awards that will provide an opportunity for young people with the ability and drive to inspire others to reach their full potential.

Please, donate as much as you can! We truly appreciate it!
