On Saturday the 4th of December I will be running a marathon in memory of my beloved aunt Catie and attempting to raise as much money as possible for St Michaels Hospice. This is a charity that provided essential support to Catie and our family throughout her struggle with breast cancer. For instance, providing 'Hospice at Home' enabled Catie to be at home with her loved ones right to the end; something which meant a lot to both her and our family. Catie was someone who brought so much joy and happiness wherever she went and who would selflessly never complain but instead lift up others with her incredible sense of humor and kindness; something I respected about her greatly.
