I am about to embark upon the challenge of IRONMAN 2019 in aid of Bolton Hospice. My life long friend Jamie Robbins died of cancer in July 2018. Jamie was cared for both as an out patient, and then an inpatient, for months at a time by the Angels that are the nursing staff, and volunteers at Bolton Hospice. I personally spent a lot of time at the hospice visiting Jamie, and witnessed the tremendous work they do for patients, their family and friends alike. The care they provided for Jamie has inspired me to want to raise as much money as possible. I realise that any one of us could have been in Jamie's position.


Donating to Bolton Hospice means they can continue to provide free expert care and support to local people facing a terminal or life-limiting illness and their families. 

Bolton Hospice rely on our donations because government funding only covers a fraction of their costs. Without such generosity, they simply couldn't continue with the immense care they give.

Just to give you an idea of where any sponsorship will go:

£16 could pay for an hour of specialist, compassionate nursing care.£120 could pay for all our inpatients’ meals for a day.£404 would cover the cost of running all of the hospice’s patient and family care and support services for an hour.£520 could buy oxygen for our patients for a month.£9703 would cover the cost of all patient care for 24 hours.Thank you for taking the time to read my page and understand how close this cause is to my heart.
