Instead of honouring our beautiful mum with flowers, we'd prefer to raise money for Ovacome - we know she would want this too. Our target is £1,000 which we should be able to reach easily! Please support her and us with this.

When mum was first diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer and didn't know where to turn or what to do, she found great comfort and solidarity from her Teal Sisters on this and other websites. The charity aims to make available clear, reliable information, support and advice.

Ovarian Cancer is often diagnosed late and when first line chemotherapy fails, there is little available in terms of further treatment. Mum faced her diagnosis, treatment, recurrences and final months with such bravery, a positive outlook and peaceful acceptance. Meanwhile she continued to work, meet friends and family and be the person we all knew her to be... a caring, loving and supportive friend and mum.

Mum never stopped giving and we'd like to show our gratitude for this by supporting other mums, sisters, wives, daughters and friends who have been diagnosed with this disease.

Thank you mum and thank you too.
