Team Thor-birds are once again tackling the mighty Highland Cross with an amended line-up of enthusiastic athletes, ready to take on the challenge in 2014!  Janie is back for a 2nd year of self-inflicted torture, whilst her partner in duathlon-crime, Carol, is poised for attack with Murray aiming for "a good time" (whatever that means....)  We're all training like crazy and hoping for the fantastic support the Thor-birds received last year, both financial and at the finishing line in Beauly.  

Our pain will all be worthwhile if we can help raise a shed-load of cash for the beneficiaries of this year's Cross, the main one being Beauly & District Care Project.   The charity aims to tackle social isolation of the elderly in our area, enabling them to live independently, enjoy friendships and be assisted with transport to local events and appointments.
