I am 9 years old and I am doing this event for two reasons. In memory of my lovely nana Dot who passed away on December 1st 2014. She loved sport and was always so proud of me, I miss her.
Secondly I am raising funds for York against Cancer. My grandma Ann is very poorly with brain cancer having had a brain tumour removed in January. I want to raise as much money as I can for a worthwhile cause and I am hoping that everyone that visits my page can help me achieve my £100 target. My grandma Ann and grandad Jack are so proud of me and are willing me on.
The event takes place in July 2015 at Castle Howard. I'm very excited but nervous too as it is my first ever triathlon. I have to swim 100m in the open water lake, then cycle 4km and finally run 1300m. I'm entered in the 8-10 year olds event. It takes place on the afternoon of the 25th. Everyone is welcome to come along and have a lovely day out at Castle Howard and give me as much encouragement as you wish. This link will take you to the event if you would like to know more about it...

I am doing my swimming training at New Easrwick Swimming Club, I now have a wetsuit. Daddy & Mummy's friends Tim & Rachel are helping with my cycling. Tim has serviced my bike and is taking me cycling. Daddy is going to help me with the running.
I want to say a big thank you to my oldest sister Robyn who has paid my £30 entry fee for the event and to my sister Alyssa who has bought my Wetsuit. It is her 18th birthday on The day I do the event so I want to do well for her. My littlest sister Zeyna is cheering me on and doing her own swimming, cycling and running practice to take part when she is old enough.
Thank you to all my family and friends for their support and encouragement. I can't wait for the event to come round. Thank you to everyone who donates to this very worthwhile cause 👍.
Well, that's it for now....Thank you, thank you, thank you
Love from Jazlyn ❤️xxx
