Two years have gone by since our first Jeans for Genes day. Thank you so much for all your kind donations both then and last year. Toby has come so far since his diagnosis. He is now 3 years old; developmentally he is very similar to a 2 year old. He loves running around and we're having fun deciphering his words! He still loves cars, trains, aeroplanes and giggling away and most of the time displays a very cheesy grin. He is very different to the boy that he was before his diagnosis: much, much happier! He is still fed intravenously 6 nights a week and receives 90% of his calories that way as the cells in his gut don't work properly.

Toby's case is rare, but there are half a million children in the UK with similar diseases. We are supporting Jeans for Genes again to help other children with genetic disorders (1 in 25 in the UK).
