Story

Rather than crying into my quarantini because I can’t celebrate my birthday, I want to do something positive for local people who are struggling at this time - so I’m going to run a half marathon (in the shape of a ‘38’  - the age I’ll be) around Hucknall on my birthday, in return for you buying me a virtual birthday drink by donating the cost of a glass of something cold and yummy to Sharewear. Sharewear are a Nottingham charity who help people who need clothing - from babies being born into extreme poverty to young men and women fleeing domestic violence with only the clothes on their backs. Sharewear are helping 300% more people than they normally help during these troubled times, and their main source of funding has dried up thanks to Covid19.

Thank you from Sharewear for your support.
