When my gorgeous Ma was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphoctyic Leukaemia 2 years ago she spent more hours than usual on her iPad searching for information.

She stumbled across the CLLSA charity. This is the only UK charity which is specifically for people with CLL which is the most common type of Leukaemia in Adults.

Not content with having found this support she wanted to get involved and help others and after attending her first patient education day she was approached to join the Board of Trustees. Today she is the Vice Chair and actively involved in educational days and the day to day running of the charity. 

Amongst other things, the CLLSA run regular meetings for members where they can hear guest speakers and meet other patients and carers to share advice and support each other. 

We are running to raise money in order that the organisation can continue to support those with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia an incurable blood cancer. Whilst Tim will whizz around in record time I will be somewhere at the back but every sentence of this story will keep me going. Please support us x
