HI!  Thanks for visiting my page - again probably for lots of you!  So this October I am part of a team taking 16 children from east Scotland to Florida dysneyland.  They are either severely disabled, have a chronic illness or in recovery from cancer and have been nominated by their doctors or nurses.  Many are also from deprived backgrounds and this is an opportunity for them they would otherwise never had.  Their parents do not come so it is a chance for them to really come out of their shells, enjoy themselves, forget about their illness and grow as an individual.   

Each team from each area trys to raise as much money as possible to contribute to the cost of the trip so I am doing my bit and running the Loch Ness marathon.  I hope to beat my previous best of 3hours 58min so will have to put in some serious training.  I'm also going to be abseiling off a lighthouse in November!  I'm not sure which will be worst - I don't like heights!
