Hi folks!

Depending on how well you know me you may know that our much loved Daddy passed away in May. Daddy was unlucky enough to have a liver disease called PSC (Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis) alongside other health problems which he had suffered with in the past few years. A nurse we spoke with in the Royal Victoria Hospital at one stage after Daddy’s death commented that treatments for liver disease were limited compared to (for example) heart disease as 10/20 years ago research was focused more in that area. In light of this I’d like to raise some awareness and possibly a little money for liver research so that treatments/cures can be found for this and other similar diseases. I’ve signed up for Omagh half marathon on 28th March, I’m not a very skilled or experienced runner but have set myself the challenge and I am determined to complete it! Some members of my family will also be taking part in the 5km fun run on the day and any sponsorship would be greatly appreciated 😊
