So last year I was coerced into running the half marathon and I actually enjoyed it, who knew!! Afterwards I was on such a high I signed up again!!

This year I'll be running in aid of Heart UK, which is the only charity to support people with cholesterol problems. 

As some of you may know I suffer from familial hypercholesterolaemia (FH) which is an inherited condition. 

Sadly my dad, and his dad before him, died at a young age, from the problems related to this condition. Luckily for me, and other members of my family, they have recently identified the genetic strain, and can now control it with drugs. And due to word of mouth at a family gathering, distant relatives have also now been tested and identified as having the condition and are now being treated. 

It took over 15 years of regular blood tests, doctors appointments, and hospital appointments before I was diagnosed, and this was mostly due to my own persistence. 

I'd like to raise money for this charity so that they can spread awareness, and hopefully save lives by doing so!! 

All donations are welcome, this charity receives no government funding so every penny counts!!!
