I need your support yet again.

Sadly youth homelessness continues to be a terrible problem. No one chooses to be on the streets, I have heard some frightening stories from young peope about what led them to be living rough. The money raised by Byte night will enable Action for Children to tackle the root causes of homelessness, keeping young people off the streets and giving them the chance of a better life with access to education and training opportunities.

 

So, I am sleeping out again and hoping you will sponsor me. I am also hoping it will be a dry on Friday. Last year was ghastly, it rained all night. I placed an umbrela strategically over my head, my sleeping bag was water resistant, but eventually gave up any idea of sleep when I turned and the water that had collected on the umbrella poured down my neck into my sleeping bag.

However bad the night is, at 6.00am I will be off home for a shower and an easy comfortable day with my family, very aware that for so many vulnerable young people in the UK this is not an option.
