Having had (very) long hair for most of my life, I am finally facing the BIG haircut! The photo at the top of this page is probably the last time that my hair was that short. So I am asking people to sponsor me to cut my hair to raise funds for a good cause.

I am raising funds for Heel and Toe, a local charity that was established in September 2008. Heel and Toe provides physio, speech and occupational therapy and free conductive education for children with cerebral palsy and similar conditions. The charity's principal aim is that 'No Child Should Be Denied Therapy Due To a Lack of Money’. As the parent of a disabled child, this is a cause very close to my heart.

Once I have had my hair cut, I will donate the ponytail to the Little Princess Trust -a charity that provides wigs for children and young people with cancer.
