We deliver mental health recovery education to provide hope, empowerment and opportunity

Story

This year, Beth, Lucy, Sally, Luke and Anny will be running the Ravenscroft Relay in the Jersey Marathon and we would really appreciate your support! We will be raising funds for Jersey Recovery College, the local mental health charity.

Jersey Recovery College runs courses for the Jersey community to offer education and training opportunities to people experiencing mental health difficulties and the family, friends and professionals who support them. Our courses include Living with Depression, Positive Psychology for Older Adults and Suicide Prevention. All our courses aim to provide hope, opportunity and empowerment to our students. We believe that cost should not be a barrier to getting support with mental health issues, so all our courses are free. Please help us to fund these courses so that all islanders are able to access them, regardless of their situation.

The benefits of exercise for mental health are widely known, and all 5 members of the team know about the positive impact of running on our moods! We are proud to be raising money for this worthwhile charity, and hope you will support us.

Please also take a moment to support our colleague Nancy Thomas, who will be running the whole marathon. She is also raising funds for Jersey Recovery College. Go Nancy!

Thank you,

Beth, Lucy, Sally, Luke and Anny
