Story
I'm not really a cyclist, but when the opportunity arose to help the Tigers Foundation, I thought I'd give it a go. Personally, I've loved their fitness group because it's such a friendly, motivating group and my dad (who is 77 and is falling apart) is helped by their FREE Steady Steps programme, both of which are fantastic.
They remove barriers and create opportunities for children and adults living with disability and who might be excluded for a variety of health and economic reasons, to experience and enjoy rugby and sports.
And, as a fundraiser for Hope Against Cancer I'm asking people to cycle 357 miles for local cancer research in Ireland in September https://www.hopeagainstcancer.org.uk/events#wildatlantic so I thought I should probably see what it's like in the saddle myself!
