I've been fundraising for Crew for a number of years now - they connect vulnerable people with credible info and support on sexual health drugs and alcohol and they do it by being a seamless and respected part of the scene. That's a tough job in Scotland. I've seen the course of people's lives change, people just like me with jobs and families. I've seen young people listen to the peer educators and make better choices and I've seen people in crisis get on top of situations when they though there was no way out. The guys who do this work have often been there and are super well trained. There's so much to Crew, like their role in informing Scottish drugs policy and training front line workers including police and medical staff, and your donation will help keep them out in the field and making a real difference.
