Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Some of you will know that I am terrified of flying, to such an extent that even as I create this page my hands are sweating and I'm feeling sick!!! So why, you may ask, am I choosing to do a skydive?

I'm doing it for three reasons:
1. Years ago I used to work with rough sleepers in central London. Many of the people I met on the streets were ex-military. The fantastic support that Alabare offers to homeless people will help ensure that these veterans can have a happier future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8_xu0lRErY

2. In a  very very  small way, this is our way of commemorating the end of one of worst conflicts in history.

3. It may just cure me of my phobia of flying (or kill me in the process!!)

So on Saturday November 10th, the day before Remembrance Sunday, I and my two eldest sons will be jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet.  And perhaps the immortal words of Buzz Lightyear will be ringing in our ears - "It's not flying - it's just falling, with style"!!!!
