Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page :0)

In case you didn't know, my sister, Penni Jane [Rees] Carr is amazing; and now that my brave and brilliant sister has 'come out' about having been fighting Lymphoma for the last few months, I can now also 'go public' and say that I have signed up to raise much needed funds for the Lymphoma Out Loud charity by taking part in the London, Royal Parks half marathon in October. I mean, is there a better way to help than by raising awareness of Lymphoma and helping other people get the support and treatment that they need?

The suggested minimum sponsorship suggested by the charity is £400 but I obviously I would like to raise more than that if at all possible so, any donation large or small would be more than welcome! 

I don't mind telling you that the last 6 months have been a real challenge for us as a family, but as you would expect, Pen has risen to it like the star that she is. Fingers crossed she is now on the home straight, the finish line is just ahead and the second half of 2022 will be a lot better than the first!
