Story
In September last year, I ran a half marathon around London three days after my beautiful Mama died of bowel cancer. And it was pretty rubbish. And then it continued to be pretty rubbish. But although the last year has been all-round-pretty-rubbish, St Catherine's Hospice has been there the whole time, admirably fighting to give the dying, and their loved ones, comfort, respect, dignity and peace. And for that, I cannot be grateful enough.
This September I am going to repeat my half marathon, but this time it will be around Reigate, and it won't be so rubbish because I will be running with a shiny new St C's running vest, a huge smile on my face and Mum's memory in my heart. And it will be fab.
So, I beg of your kindness and generosity, please donate to this wonderful hospice; they are still delivering unbelievable end of life care FREE OF CHARGE to local people, young and old and from every walk of life. They need a whopping £5.5 million a year to keep running.
Thank you so much for your never ending support - it means the world.
Lots of love,
Jo
