Story

This Thursday I will be running 1 mile for charity. But will I be running a beer mile or a San Pellegrino mile? You decide.

The rules are simple. I drink a can of 5% beer (or San Pellegrino) then run a lap of the track. Repeat four times. If I vomit, I run a penalty lap.

The most important bit is that you sponsor me. When you sponsor me, let me know if you want me to drink beer or San Pellegrino. I'll do whichever makes the most money. No refunds if you pick the losing side.

All proceeds go to Chalk Farm foodbank.

It's a tragedy that we need foodbanks, but you can be sure your donation will go to someone who needs it.

About the charity

We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we provide emergency food and support to local people in crisis. We opened in April 2012 (as Chalk Farm Foodbank) and have fed over 18,000 people, distributing more than 150,000kg of food since.
