I am taking part in the Liverpool marathon on the 20th May and due to the pain of training I have decided to try to raise some cash for my efforts. This will be my first and most likely my only marathon as it started out as a bucket list achievement and I'm happy to never have to run this distance again!

I will do my best to complete this as Beacon Counselling Service is a fantastic charity who support many people in Bolton to overcome challenges in their lives. I am lucky enough to be a volunteer at Beacon which I embarked on as part of my counselling training. All volunteers and staff there work very hard to provide an amazing service to the people of Bolton so please help to support this fantastic cause.
