John was a man of quiet passions. He loved music, the flowers in
his garden and most of all he loved cycling. He cycled miles every day, often
in the early hours of the day before work. He continued cycling even after a
serious cycling accident that could have stopped him riding forever.

This fund has been set up in his honour to help people get
involved in cycling and enjoy the freedom it offered him throughout his life.
