Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have chosen, as Chair of Trustees, to run for Newcastle United Foundation in the GNR after a 20 years gap from this event.

I am doing this because I was moved by the work of our dedicated team, led by Dan Hancock, supporting and integrating refugees in Newcastle.  As well as offering free weekly "turn up and play" football sessions, they are also offering employability support for settled refugees, events and other activities working with partners.  Given the current challenges facing Ukrainians being displaced, this is my way to show support and help make a contribution to this.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

About the charity

Newcastle United Foundation uses passion for football to make a real difference to the lives of local children, young people and families. Every year we work with over 69,000 people across a number of sports, health, education and youth projects.
