Story
CATS exists because Tay-Sachs and Sandhoff are debilitating, and ultimately deadly genetic diseases which are currently incurable. They are usually diagnosed when a baby is a few months old, and in most cases death occurs by the age of five.
The CATS Foundation supports children with these diseases and their parents, with information, equipment, respite funding and networking. CATS also monitors research work being carried out to find a cure.
When it comes to giving I'm normally a couch potato - I might write a cheque but it's other people making the effort. This time around CATS persuaded me to try a different approach!
Thanks you for supporting this cause.
