Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. At Teddington Trust we have been helping individuals and their families with XP to thrive
Xeroderma Pigmentosum (XP) is a very rare genetic condition characterised by an extreme sensitivity to ultraviolet radiation (UVR) which affects less than 100 patients in the United Kingdom and equally low numbers around the world.
Teddington Trust works in the UK and around the world to help, but this requires funds to purchase the protective clothing and equipment to keep people protected from UV light, Like all charities, raising funds just now is a challenge and Teddington Trust is no different.
So this June I am setting out to walk 500km in total to raise funds. That is 16.6km/day or 10miles every day. I would love if you would consider helping me towards my target. I’ll be posting regular updates and to ensure accurate tracking will post the distances from my Apple Watch.
