Education helps children live Happily Ever Smarter; it breaks the cycle of poverty, empowers entire communities and gives children the opportunity to create their own brighter and more secure futures. However, for children, like Amir, who lives the foothills of the Himalayas, Nepal, the opportunity to get the education he needs to escape the poverty cycle feels like an impossible fairy tale. At just 6 years old, Amirs only chance to go to school means walking 180 minutes everyday to and from school. In reality, Amir cannot often go. He is one of the 11.3 million children in South Asia who is out of education.I am joining the 180 Challenge to help turn children's lives around through education. My aim is to walk the equivalent of Mount Everest up and down three times in 5 days.As Nepal where we have many schools is not within air travel reach I intend to stick to the Chichester area where I live and which happens to be flatter! The three routes will start from my house and take in Dell Quay,  Bosham , Bosham Hoe, Chichester Marina, Chichester Canal , Lavant, West Dean and several small villages. Each route will be around 18Kms or 100 times the 180 UWS challenge

Your donation will not only be doubled but it will help to transform the lives of more children not receiving education and therefore destined to a life of menial work if lucky and often much worse like slavery or prostitution.
