I started running less than three years ago supporting my eldest son as he did this as his physical challenge for the DofE Award.  After completing his three months running he stopped but I kept on going... Over the past couple of years I've done two 10k events but this is my first ever Half Marathon, it's a big step up and a real challenge!

I am running the Ealing Half Marathon to raise money for Medair UK - a humanitarian aid charity that prioritises the world's hardest to reach and most vulnerable people. 

Global emergencies are on the rise. The people who are most vulnerable are harder to reach. Crises are lasting longer. Medair brings life-saving humanitarian relief to communities who need help. This includes providing medical and nutrition treatment, shelter, food, and setting up vital WASH services (water, sanitation & hygiene) to people who have been displaced or are suffering due to violence, conflict or natural disasters.
