John was involved in a climbing accident on Helvellyn on 17th February 2015 & died in hospital the next day. Instead of sending cards & flowers we would ask you to please donate to this page in aid of Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team who co-ordinated the rescue. The money raised will then be split equally across all the MRT's involved.

John's funeral will be held on Monday 2nd March 2.20pm at Carlisle Crematorium.
